A Complete Comprehensive Diagnostic Test Entails

 

Men

1. Gram stain of urethral smear

2. Urinalysis of urine collected mid stream before Prostate Massage (VB2)

3. Wet mount & Gram stain of Expressed Prostate Secretion (EPS) collected after Prostate Massage

4. Bacterial Cultures and Sensitivity of the collected Expressed Prostatic Secretion obtained after Prostate Massage including Ureaplasma and Mycoplasma sp.

5. Chlamydia test using Immunofluorescence Microscopy (Direct Fluorescence Antibody)

6. Trans-rectal ultrasound (TRUS) of the Prostate Gland and ultrasound of the Kidneys & Urinary Bladder (KUB) when necessary

7. Semen analysis and cultures when necessary

1. Urinalysis of urine collected Midstream

2. Wet mount & Gram Stain of Urethra, Vaginal & Cervical smears

3. Bacterial Cultures and Sensitivity of Vaginal & Cervical smears including Ureaplasma and Mycoplasma sp.

4. Chlamydia test using Immunofluorescence Microscopy (Direct Fluorescence Antibody)
